DIGITAL HUMAN RIGHTS / NCII
WHEN DIGITAL VIOLENCE OCCURS, SUPPORT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT.
We are developing an architecture for non-consensual intimate image protection that places survivor support, coordinated response, and sustainable funding at the center.
In development · No finished NCII insurance policy or approved insurer-backed trigger
A SURVIVOR-CENTERED ARCHITECTURE
Design the response around the person.
The proposed model connects reporting and verification to coordinated support. Service eligibility, consent, safeguarding, funding, and accountability must be designed and validated before any launch.
- 01
Incident reporting
A secure, appropriate channel for an initial report.
- 02
Verification
A defined process to establish eligibility, with care for privacy and survivor consent.
- 03
Support activation
Access to agreed services after the relevant conditions are met.
- 04
Coordinated response
Specialist providers work through a clear response plan.
- 05
Insurance or other funding
A proposed mechanism to fund services or payments, subject to a validated structure.
- 06
Recovery
Ongoing support and a review of what the response needs to improve.
PROPOSED SUPPORT COMPONENTS
A coordinated response has many parts.
Takedown support
Legal assistance
Crisis communications
Psychological support
Reputation remediation
These are proposed components, not services currently activated by this website. Providers, availability, access criteria, and funding require agreement.
HOW FUNDING COULD WORK
The trigger and the promise must be clear.
Parametric structures
A parametric arrangement links a defined payment to an agreed, objectively verifiable trigger. The trigger, verification process, amount, exclusions, and timing need careful design. There is no approved insurer-backed NCII parametric trigger presented here.
Indemnity & service structures
Indemnity insurance responds to covered losses under policy terms. A service-based arrangement may fund or provide specified assistance. These approaches differ in what must be established before support or payment becomes due.
THE NEXT STEP
Help shape a response that puts people first.
We welcome development conversations with survivor-support organizations, human-rights groups, response providers, and prospective funding partners.
